The GM will attempt to match up players for their preferred game type.<\/p>\n<p>There is no difference for\u00a0scoring, or winning points for either board.<\/p>\n<h5>Tiebreakers<\/h5>\n<p>After final scoring, if players are tied, the following tie breaker will be used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total track advancement (including industry track movement)\u00a0with each color counting (1pt each regardless of color)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Elimination Rounds<\/h5>\n<p>The semi finals will consist of both Russian and German boards. The final board will be decided by the majority decision of players, if a tie, the German board is favored.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If there are at least 35 players:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Top 16 players advance to the semi-finals, as determined by the standard EuroQuest tiebreakers.<\/p>\n<p>The semifinal winners (or runner-up alternates if necessary based on closest percentage of winner\u2019s score) will advance to a 4-player Final.\u00a0We will consider margin of victory if we have no other way to break a tie (for example, amongst player with one heat win and no other heats entered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If less than 35 players:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The number of people advancing to the semi-final will depend on the number of winners.<\/p>\n<p>4 or less winners \u00a0&gt;&gt; we will skip directly to a final with those winners. If necessary, the best player without a win will advance to fill up the table to 4.<\/p>\n<p>More than 4 winners &gt;&gt; we will advance either 8 or 12 (depending on the number of winners with enough seconds to fill out the tables) to a semi-final.
