There are always several goals that every player is trying to be the best at so they get the most points for it at the end of the game.\u00a0 In addition, each player starts with a secret goal and will have the opportunity to obtain more during the game.\u00a0 When you close a room, you always get a reward, and sometimes they are really great.\u00a0 It may seem strange that certain rooms don\u2019t like to be next to other types of rooms, but in the end, may the best Mad King win!<\/p>\n<h5>GameMasters<\/h5>\n<p><strong>GM:<\/strong> John Corrado\/ Marcy Morelli<\/p>\n<h5>Schedule<\/h5>\n<p>Demo: Wed, 5:30 PM<\/p>\n<p>See <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"\/index.php\/schedule\/\">schedule <\/a><\/span>for Heat times<\/p>\n<h5>Plaque(s)<\/h5>\n<p>The top two finishers from the Final will receive a plaque.<\/p>\n<h4>Event Description<\/h4>\n<p>4 players per table, if possible, but no less than 3 players.<\/p>\n<p>All heats and the elimination rounds will use the base game only.<\/p>\n<p>Note: If you are using the collector&#8217;s edition (either the Colossal one like the GM or just the regular sized one) ensure that you are using the tiles from the base game and not those from the 5-player expansion.<\/p>\n<h5>Tie Breakers<\/h5>\n<p>First tiebreaker: Largest castle by square footage<\/p>\n<div>Additional Tie Breakers:<\/div>\n<div>1) Left over money<\/div>\n<div>2) Total # of rooms including stairs and hallways.<\/div>\n<h5>FAQ<\/h5>\n<div>You must PURCHASE points for $10,000 each during endgame scoring, not just \u201creceive\u201d the points for having the money left over.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>It is easy to miscount the points you should receive during the game. Points should be recounted at the end of the game.<\/div>\n<div>The general principle to be used is &#8220;If it looks like it fits, then it does fit.&#8221;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h5>Elimination rounds<\/h5>\n<div>The top 12 or 16 players will advance to the semi-final round, depending on the total number of players.
