{"id":692,"date":"2013-10-12T08:13:55","date_gmt":"2013-10-12T12:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.euroquestcon.com\/?page_id=692"},"modified":"2019-09-21T12:16:46","modified_gmt":"2019-09-21T16:16:46","slug":"essen-game-demos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"\/index.php\/eq-presents\/essen-game-demos\/","title":{"rendered":"Essen and other New Games"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, the EuroQuest staff has volunteers fly out to the Essen Spiel convention in Germany in order to bring back some of the latest and greatest games being released, in order to make them available for you to play at EuroQuest before they are released in the USA!<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in the game selection process, please send an e-mail to events@euroquestcon.com expressing your interest.\u00a0 We generally begin the overall selection process shortly before GenCon in August so we can target acquiring new games at GenCon and then identify which games should be purchased directly from Essen SPIEL.<\/p>\n<h1>New Games Library<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The Essen and other new games will be kept in a separate New Games library (not with the regular GCOM Library).<\/li>\n<li>Demo times for the Essen games will be posted at the demo stands located in the demo area.<\/li>\n<li>You should not check out an Essen game when it will be needed for its scheduled demo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>All<\/strong> of the indicated New \/ Essen games will be given away during the 9 PM Saturday prize drawing.<\/li>\n<li>Please note that the comment cards in the library area are <strong>ONLY<\/strong> for Play to Win Games.
